What a released report should make clear

  • The checks requested and the records included.
  • The source or method used and the relevant review date.
  • The candidate claim, returned information and any material difference.
  • Limitations, unavailable responses and outstanding clarification.
  • The released version and applicable authenticity reference.

A report records the verification findings within its scope. It does not guarantee future conduct or replace the employer's responsible review and hiring policy.
