Frequently asked questions

Background verification questions, clearly answered.

Understand what the platform supports, where human review matters, and which responsibilities remain with the employer.

What types of background verification can ZenNextVerify manage?

Services include employment, education, current and permanent address, criminal, identity, reference, database, Court Record Check, Police Clearance Check (PCC), UAN Check, and Social Media Verification. The final scope and availability are confirmed for each engagement.

Can clients track their own cases?

Yes. Role-controlled client workspaces provide access to the client's candidates, cases, intake progress, and released reports.

How are verification reports quality checked?

Completed checks move through a dedicated quality-control workflow before a client-visible report is released.

Can candidates provide information securely?

Yes. A token-based intake flow can collect case-specific candidate information and supporting documents without giving the candidate access to the MIS.

Can background verification packages vary by role?

Yes. Packages can be configured from supported verification types according to the employer's role-relevant policy and permitted purpose.

Can multiple employments be verified for one candidate?

Yes. Each employment is stored separately and creates its own employment verification so records and findings do not become mixed.

What happens when more information is required?

A check or case can move to a pending-information state with a visible request. Once the required response is provided, the workflow returns to the appropriate stage.

Can vendors see every candidate and case?

No. Vendor access is scoped to assigned verification work and the candidate information required for that work.

Are reports released immediately after a vendor completes work?

No. Vendor completion and quality approval are separate stages. A report is released only through the configured finalisation workflow.

Can a released report be checked for authenticity?

Yes. A released report carries a verification reference that can be checked without making the underlying candidate report public.

Does ZenNextVerify make hiring decisions?

No. The system records and reports verification outcomes. The employer owns the final hiring decision and its fair review process.

Does ZenNextVerify guarantee every source will respond?

No. Source availability and response are outside a provider's complete control. The workflow records attempts, evidence, and an outcome that reflects what could be verified.
