Candidate Privacy and Verification Guide

Understand what information may be requested, how it supports a verification, and how to respond safely.

Last updated: 11 August 2026

Before you provide information

Confirm who requested the background verification, why it is required, which checks are included, and that you are using the intended secure intake link. Do not share documents through an unexpected or unverified channel.

Information requested from candidates

The intake may request identity, contact, address, education, employment, and supporting-document information relevant to the checks selected by the employer/client.

  • Complete only the fields relevant to your case
  • Provide accurate information and explain uncertainty
  • Upload readable, relevant documents
  • Avoid including unrelated personal information

How verification information is used

Candidate-provided information is linked to the relevant case and check. Authorised operations or assigned verification providers use the required details to contact permitted sources, compare responses, record findings, and support quality review.

Clarifications and corrections

If information is missing or a finding requires clarification, the appropriate participant may request additional context. A clarification request is not automatically a negative outcome. Provide relevant information through the authorised process.

Employer responsibility

ZenNextVerify records verification outcomes; the employer/client remains responsible for its hiring decision, communication, fairness review, and any applicable legal obligations.

Questions or requests?

Contact our team for guidance on privacy, corrections or use of the service. For a case-specific request, ask for the authorised secure channel; your identity or authority may need to be confirmed. Use the business emails for general enquiries, not for sending sensitive records.

For general enquiries only. Share candidate documents through your authorised secure intake, not these public contact channels. Never share passwords or OTPs.
